W/C 30th April - 4 Day Fast Track Swim Programme, Mill Hill
Take part in a 4-day intensive aimed at beginner & intermediate swimmers in Mill Hill, running from the 30th March - 2nd April. Make 4-weeks worth of progress in just 4 days.
Working on the foundations and fundamental swimmers, the aim is for people to come out of the course more confident and comfortable in the water and with basic skills to help them continue their swimming journey.
The sessions will run for 45 minutes; 18:00 - 1845 or 18:45 - 19:30. Absolute beginners is for those with very limited experience in the water, working on getting the face in, breath work and floating.
Beginner level 2, for those who have experience floating and kicking in the water already unsupported (i.e. without the use of floataton aids), looking at introduction of arms and deep water confidence (floating and treading).
Intermediate is for those who can swim a length (25m) of the pool on the front. We will be looking at stroke technique and building stamina, as well as continued deep water confidence.
What to expect
There will be a maximum of 5/6 swimmers per teacher, with teachers Omie & Suhaila leading the sessions.
This is a mixed session.
There will be teachers in water for support and demonstrations
The pool is 25 metres, with a deep end of 2.2m on one side, perfect for practicing deep water confidence.
