Feb: 4-Day Fast-Track Intensive Swimming Course, Birmingham

Join us for a 4-day intensive swimming programme in Birmingham, in the Acocks Green area. Make 4 weeks of progress in just 4 days, taking place from Tuesday 17th to Friday 20th February. 

Our course is designed to make swimmers more confident and comfortable in the water, providing you with the skills and knowledge to understand your body in the water, swim efficiently and independently.

Please find the important information below:

  • The pool is 17m long with a deep end of 2.3m.

  • Each session is 45 minutes long between 17:30 and 18:30. The first three sessions are women’s only, and the final one is mixed. Please note, that whilst the women’s-only sessions will be led by female teachers with female swimmers, we cannot fully guarantee a strict-women’s only environment (i.e. with external staff walking past the pool area).

  • There will be two expert teachers leading the sessions, with a maximum of 6 swimmers per teacher.

  • Our absolute beginner level is for those with no or limited experience in the water. We will be focusing on floating, breathing underwater, as well as introduction to kicking, floating and intro to deep water confidence.

  • Our beginner level 2 group is for those who can float and kick independently (i.e. without the use of flotation aids) on both the front and back. We will be looking at stroke technique (front, back and breastsroke) as well as deep water confidence
